We have partnered with an established Petrochemical company, based in Houston, Texas. They are actively searching for someone who can perform the role of an Electrical Reliability Engineer who has previous Maintenance experience in a Petrochemical Plant environment. The position requires strong teamwork and interfacing with all departments of the Refinery.
Responsibilities/ skills required:
- Providing technical support and troubleshooting assistance in resolving electrical design, and maintenance problems within the refinery
- Contacting internal and/or external experts as required. -Utilize reliability modeling and analytic tools such as Weibull, failure tracking, root cause failure analysis, and life-cycle cost analysis to improve reliability of electrical equipment and systems
- Provide leadership and decision making skills during turnarounds and unplanned equipment outages regarding repair solutions.
- Provide technical expertise and lead investigations to solve recurring electrical equipment failures, reliability threats, and/or performance issues. specifications for potential improvement based on industry and site specific experience.
